Vayne had no reason to ask when or why Danny had joined, considering he was just another member of The Typhoon for her. For all that she knew, he could have been born here and she just never met him.. Who knows?
The she-cat opened her mouth to respond to Danny introducing himself, before the pup went off looking for something. When he returned with a shell, Vayne's eyes lit up. "I do! It's so pretty!!"" She squeaked, taking the shell gently in her paws and examining it while Danny started talking to her crewmates.
Vayne frowned upon hearing that he was looking for his momma. In a way, she could relate, but then again, it had been her choice in leaving Aphra for The Typhoon. Not to mention, being here was so much more free than being with Aphra, something that Vayne didn't really want to give up. She didn't like the tight atmosphere she felt whenever she lived with Aphra. "You weren't too loud." Vayne tried to reassure him. She didn't say anything about finding his mother, though, seeing as she couldn't entirely relate to wanting to 'find' her own.
