The ocean was quite unkind, he had found, and the rains that beat down on everything in sight almost sounded like something was chasing him. He'd lost track of his mother, if she was alive or dead would have been a question that plagued the mind of anyone else, but the child was simply too terrified of the storm and being on his own to question what the status of his mother was. He'd go out looking for her later, but in the meantime, he just wanted to not be eaten alive, supposedly, by the dark clouds above.
The little man had run as far as his stupid little legs could carry him, black fur covered in sand and sprayed sea water, until it was dripping off his coat and his legs had gone from black to the dirty brown color of wet, solidified sand. Danny cared not at the moment if anyone who may have lived in the buildings up ahead would be cross with him, or more dangerous than the rolling waves that crashed threateningly at him. The wolf pup had aimed straight for tavern steps, scrambling and tripping over himself just to break inside, and then promptly hid under a table, shaking out the water from his fur to the best of his ability.
