As the prey toppled to the ground, his gaze momentarily moved over towards the splayed out corpse. His jaw unhinged to comment. It closed instantly, recoiling at the scent wafting closer to him. With a soft sigh, he scrambled up the trunk instead. Claws latched into the branch to his right, lifting himself up and over towards the open spot. Alexandre scooted over further. He paused to catch his balance and secure his spot, promptly folding his wings once he was satisfied. "Thanks," he dully replied.
Orange eyes settled out on the horizon. Confirmation came quick. The rumors were true of the quiet owl that roamed the territory then. Alexandre thought it was such an elegant name for a beautiful creature. With a nod, he continues on. "My name is Alexandre-" His voice falls quiet, contemplating 'little four leg.' He thought he was pretty tall and four legs weren't too strange. "- feathered two leg." The kitten's weary orbs looked up at Requiem, offering a joking smirk in return, trying to calm their nerves (but mostly his).
Small talk. It wasn't his thing. The strict vibe she gave off made it seem like she wouldn't do much either, so the kitten phased into a less common topic. Rather a strange one even. It peaked his morbid curiosity. "How'd you do that-" His paw nonchalantly gestured down to the devoured corpse. "-so fast?" The crackle of bones and the decimated squeal of her prey was deafening, yet so swift and clean. Alexandre wasn't a fan of hunting. It made him feel oddly sick. Ending the deal quickly would comfort him and allow him to do his daily tasks more easily.
