YOU KNOW WHICH STARS BELONG,
The approach of his mother was enough to set Lovefool at ease, even if things weren't quite the same considering recent events. Despite her lack of memories, Goldie still seemed to genuinely care for her family, and that was enough for Lo. After all, it wasn't like he really wanting his mother remembering what a, well, fool he had made of himself recently. He much preferred just being able to enjoy her company without that feeling of shame, and he was quick to accept her comfort. He pressed lightly into her side, ears still pinned down as he muttered softly to her, "Thanks, mom..." On the opposite side of the spectrum, Roxie's approach caused him to tense up slightly, every nerve on his body set on edge. He expected her to scold him for being too sensitive, or perhaps say that he was living up to his name, but instead her attentions were focused on Xhocoatl. He relaxed upon hearing her words, briefly closing his eyes as he took a deep breath. At least she was saying something.
However, it didn't seem as though Xho was too keen on listening. Instead of dropping the body, or moving away from it, he made a swift twisting motion, until there was a sickening snap. Lo's eyes were still squeezed shut as he heard it, and he resisted the urge to gag in disgust. Despite Goldie's comfort, the young hybrid knew that he couldn't remain around much longer. He pressed his head a bit deeper into his mother's fur, pulling away afterwards to shoot a grateful look towards Roxie. Even if they weren't on the best terms, he did approve of her actions as captain. After that, he sent another disgusted look in Xhocoatl's direction, his nose wrinkling at how the other had chosen to handle things. He considered saying something snide on the way out, but he was also fairly sure that Roxie would have the scolding part of things covered. Instead, he just pulled away from Goldie's side, turning and walking away with that same grimace of unhappiness on his face. He'd need to go and relax until his stomach finally settled.
