Vampires, Prophets, and Kings - Murder - SirDio - 01-16-2021

The hybrid stretched his limbs as he walked, feeling sun on his scales and finding it warm and welcoming. He was glad to be back. But as he flicked his tongue out, he caught scent of something disgusting, wicked. "Coalition." Xhocoatl hissed, seamlessly breaking his path and following it deeper into the jungle, catching sight of a small cat that reeked of it. But still, his stomach demanded food. With a huff he pounced on the coalition member, relishing the yell and pleading that came from the thing.

[color=#9b829f]"Oh, no, no, no! You don't get a free pass out of here. Trespassers aren't welcome here, you're supposed to ring the bell at the gates! And you reek of coalition, you disgusting thing." He allowed his body to coil around the cat, squeezing and squeezing, breaking bones.

And before long he released the limp cat, grinning at the sight. [color=#9b829f]"It'd be a shame for you to just rot here." He spoke before letting his jaws open, clamping down on the cat's head and slowly working his way down. Okay, so maybe he wouldn't be able to finish before someone found him and asked him what he was doing.

Disgust. It was all that Lovefool felt as he approached the border that day, only to be greeted by the sight of Xhocoatl attempting to eat someone whole. The hybrid near immediately recoiled, his words accompanied by a flash of fangs as he spoke, "That's disgusting. It's only made worse by how delighted you seem with yourself." Love made no attempt to disguise his distaste for the other, taking a step back and shaking his head from side to side. He didn't care if the victim had been a Coalition trespasser, murder was a last resort in the beta's opinion.

He knew that his mom had killed before, but she had done so in the pursuit of what was right. In making sure that those she loved were safe. The trespasser easily could've just been scared off, rather than killed just for the sake of senseless violence. A soft gag left Lovefool's throat as he turned his face away, about ready to just go back home and coop himself up inside. His love – ironically – for The Typhoon had been fading more and more lately, despite his best efforts. He barely went out anymore, and to only emerge to see this... it was only cementing his displeasure further.

DEAR FRIEND as you know,  your flowers are withering
your mother's gone insane, your leaves have drifted away.
but the clouds are clearing up
and i've come reveling, burning incandescently,
like a bastard on the burning sea.

YOU'RE JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER,
BURIED DEEP UNDER THE WATER.
Whatever the female felt towards the act of violence, in general, she wouldn't be so sure. In the past, before all of this, Goldie had been very careful, very precise in deciding who she killed. The Typhoon had dealt with mainly peace, despite their warbound ways, underneath her leadership simply due to this precision. Senseless violence had lead nowhere, and she was not to pleased by the idea of being able to decide when and where someone's life would end, not unless they'd a good reason for it. Despite this, she hadn't been one to really judge either, so long as it wasn't towards an ally. Nonetheless, things were different now. She was not captain, and she held no knowledge of how she truly was when she held such a position - only rumors, stories, and feelings. And the feeling she'd possess when approaching the scene would be a slight indifference, mixed with concern for the boy who'd come before her. Lovefool, one of her sons, was here, and he was quite displeased.

She doesn't say anything as she grows closer, eyes observing the scene, moving closer towards her son. She'd not much opportunity to interact with any of her children since the incident, and she figured part of it was from their own wishes. They were not exactly thrilled to find out their mother did not remember them. She still held a deep passion, deep desire to take care of them, know they were safe, happy, even if she didn't quite know how to cross that bridge yet. She thinks, perhaps this situation was an opening, even if just a small one. A paw reaches out for her son, eyes glancing between the scene of Xhocoatl and the disgust of Lovefool. "Perhaps it would be best t' let Roxie know o' the trespasser n' dispose o' the body in private." She'd suggest lightly, voice calm.

Re: Vampires, Prophets, and Kings - Murder - ROXANNE R. - 01-19-2021

The captain had been busy with other things to say the least, she was already trying to work on the next meeting that would come but unfortunately it seemed that it would have to wait as she heard the voices of her daughter and grandson, her snout wrinkled lightly hearing the mention of her name. They could always report to her later though Roxanne knew that it would be better if she arrived in person rather than being told about what had just occurred, the fur on her spine began to rise as the smell of Coalition wafted by her nose. Her first immediate thought was to find the snake and kill it but it seemed that Xhocoatl had already done that as she walked over with her fluffy tail lashing to the sides. She had stated that anyone from the Coalition was to be killed, she cared not who they could've been or why they were on her beaches to begin with. After what they had done to Goldenluxury, she just wanted those damn serpents to die in her claws. Lovefool would never understand since he was drugged the entire time that the Typhoon had been fighting against the Coalition. Selfish boy.

Even so, Roxanne knew that there couldn't be sudden outbreaks of violence within her group especially with how many children there was within her crew including her own litters. With a frown on her maw, the captain moved forward not bothering to glance over at Lovefool but spared Goldie a look before her mismatched gaze was fixated onto the snake hybrid that was coiled around the crushed feline corpse and he seemed to be ready to swallow them whole. How distasteful. "Xhocoatl, dispose of the body privately. It is best not to do that ype of shit especially with the fact that there are many children around, it is much too early to expose them to that type of shit y'know." She stated in a firm tone with her tail lashing to the sides, she'd adjust her wings at her sides watching the other carefully "I hope that I've made myself clear."

While the head of the dead coalition member was still in his mouth, his ears flattened when he heard Lovefool. An annoyed grunt left his mouth but before he could figure out how to address this, he then heard Goldenluxry. His jaws tightened around the head and he turned away from them, using his body to hide what he was about to do. He twisted his head in a violent manner, trying to discretely rip the head of the wanderer off in one fell swoop.

He felt the head free from the body with a quick motion, the body falling limply down and his jaw readjusting as he swallowed the head. Wiping his mouth free of blood he turned to Roxanne as she spoke, ears flicking gently. "Sorry, I thought I was already in a private spot. This thing was smart to hide deeper within the jungle." He motioned his head back toward the body, though his own body and tail seemed to hide it. His tone was even and as if he wasn't trying to suck a body down like a vacuum only minutes before.

The approach of his mother was enough to set Lovefool at ease, even if things weren't quite the same considering recent events. Despite her lack of memories, Goldie still seemed to genuinely care for her family, and that was enough for Lo. After all, it wasn't like he really wanting his mother remembering what a, well, fool he had made of himself recently. He much preferred just being able to enjoy her company without that feeling of shame, and he was quick to accept her comfort. He pressed lightly into her side, ears still pinned down as he muttered softly to her, "Thanks, mom..." On the opposite side of the spectrum, Roxie's approach caused him to tense up slightly, every nerve on his body set on edge. He expected her to scold him for being too sensitive, or perhaps say that he was living up to his name, but instead her attentions were focused on Xhocoatl. He relaxed upon hearing her words, briefly closing his eyes as he took a deep breath. At least she was saying something.

However, it didn't seem as though Xho was too keen on listening. Instead of dropping the body, or moving away from it, he made a swift twisting motion, until there was a sickening snap. Lo's eyes were still squeezed shut as he heard it, and he resisted the urge to gag in disgust. Despite Goldie's comfort, the young hybrid knew that he couldn't remain around much longer. He pressed his head a bit deeper into his mother's fur, pulling away afterwards to shoot a grateful look towards Roxie. Even if they weren't on the best terms, he did approve of her actions as captain. After that, he sent another disgusted look in Xhocoatl's direction, his nose wrinkling at how the other had chosen to handle things. He considered saying something snide on the way out, but he was also fairly sure that Roxie would have the scolding part of things covered. Instead, he just pulled away from Goldie's side, turning and walking away with that same grimace of unhappiness on his face. He'd need to go and relax until his stomach finally settled.
