The woman had never seen an child alone and just sitting on the border waiting patiently. Ares had been abandoned here and left in the territory by her parents and most kids that had been taken in by her tribe were often wandering around and wailing. Crying their eyes out and having something that had happened to them. Mainly separation or death. Flicking her tail that brushed against the ground the marked lioness would watch for a little bit longer before she finally decided that she might as well figure this out. Watching the kid was likely to be more dangerous then actually helping her and so she left the thick foliage of swamp ferns and thick vines. Coming closer to the border the lioness tilted her head a bit and she allowed a more easy smile to pull at the pale colored peach toned muzzle. Her head dipped kindly as she sat down before the snow leopard. ''What brings her to Tanglewood and why is she all alone?'' She made sure to check the area around them, trying to make sure this was not some kind of trap. She couldn't be too careful considering that they had just gotten over the worse of what had happened to them recently.
They were still recovering as it were and she allowed herself to relax a bit more, figuring that she should introduce herself to the kid. ''This one is called Elsweyr. She lives here and if little cub needs a home she is more than welcomed to live here with Tanglewood.'' That much was certain as they would never abandon a child and she was sure that there was more than enough room. Even if they had to feed an extra mouth they would have plenty to spare. Her tail waved gently in the air and she beckoned her to cross over the border.
