She laughed off her self-deprecating joke but leaned to nuzzle Foam. "I've missed you too, kid.." She went to grab the mouse that was left for her, though something stopped her. Jaw open partway, revealing her teeth, rows of snake teeth and her misplaced feline fangs upfront. Hesitation hit her. But it confused her. Forcing back the sudden anxiety that hit, she grabbed her mouse and ate it quickly, tongue flicking gently. She didn't feel right. She felt watched now. She felt something ethereal watching her.
