In all honestly, Vaas was interested. The fact of the matter that Vaas wasn't raised inside a clan like most other's, though he had plenty of experience with the typhoon, and thus the politics of a clan- what a drag in all honestly they were, but the expectations, and the running of the clan he felt so engaged with, that he actually liked and saw as a family.
