LEADER ❝ RHINE ❞ PALMCLAN
Fear was an emotion that Rhinestone commonly tended to associated with the Twisted Forest. It was difficult for him not to, considering the area had generated a sort of phobia for him ever since his kithood. Of course, this didn't mean that he avoided the area entirely. He couldn't, not if he wanted to be a responsible leader and make sure that the entire territory was kept safe and sound. However, he often made sure that his time within the forest was kept short and sweet, and that he didn't linger. Unfortunately, today would be a day where he would be forced into the forest, mainly as a matter of circumstance. For when he came upon the "bloody" trail and footprints that led away from the boardwalk, he had immediately felt a sort of tightness in his chest, and a lack of air. He immediately assumed that the worst had happened, and that a fox or some other vicious creature had gotten to one of his clanmates. The building the trail was coming from, empty of any and all inhabitants, was of no help to the tom, who soon went running after the voice that sang throughout the air. He had no idea that it was Bai Shi, sheer panic driving him along after the other and into the trees.
It wasn't long before Rhinestone came to the clearing, and he found himself coming to a stop, his gaze falling on the note that Bai Shi had left behind. Immediately, he felt a great deal of tension leave him, although not all of it. The trees still felt as though they were encroaching upon him, not to mention the faces and figures that he swore he saw throughout the trees. His body was still faintly shaking as he pawed at the ground around him, grateful that no serious crime had been committed. It was just a prank, or a scavenger hunt... although a cruel one. He hated thinking that any of his clanmates were injured, even if it was only for the briefest of moments. Choosing to throw himself into the little "surprise" – mainly as a distraction from the anxiety that the clearing caused him – it wasn't long before Rhine began to pull little bundles free. He pulled and pawed at them, muttering as he glanced around at the towering trees, "Anyone around? I certainly wouldn't mind some help... or someone to share with, honestly." He didn't yet take a bite of any of the candy, still mostly frozen by paranoia and fear.
