LEADER ❝ RHINE ❞ PALMCLAN
The excitement in the air was easy to feel as Quasar rushed over to Vaas, and Rhine even found himself chuckling a little at the other's response, a smile on his muzzle. He could tell that Medusa still wasn't back to one hundred percent, and the way Tsekani seemed a million miles away was concerning, but hopefully they'd both be alright. He moved on, rolling his shoulders before he spoke, "As for other news... recently, we officially allied with a group known as the Coalition of the Condemned. This will be a mutually beneficial alliance between our group and theirs, but I will say one thing – at heart, Palmclan is not a pro-clan. We live to defend ourselves and hold our own in this world. So, if the Coalition's alliance is found to be lacking, or if there is enough protest against this alliance, then it will not stand. I'm just letting you all know, so that you may voice your opinions if you wish." The alliance was exciting, yes, but it wasn't the end all, be all. Rhine would put his paw down and end it in an instant, if it ended up somehow damaging his clan. After all, they were what he cared about – before anything else.
With that important bit out of the way, Rhinestone could afford to relax a bit. He eagerly took advantage of this, speaking in a purring tone for his next announcement, "We've had some interesting recent events lately, both because of Halloween's approach and not. Drifting-Feather had her first hunt, I made a few Halloween sculptures, and Foamkit even made a... scarecrow." He wasn't exactly sure Foam had known what he was assigned to do, but he still felt obligated to call it out. After all, the kit had tried to complete the given task. The next bit of news made Rhinestonestar's tail swing from side to side behind him excitedly, mainly because he knew it would lead to a bit less work and a bit more organization for himself. He put it simply, a smile on his muzzle, "I'd also like to announce that, after this meeting, we'll be switching to a meeting every two weeks cycle. This will be a bit faster, and allow me to more easily communicate the news of the past weeks to you all." He didn't think it was too much of a big deal, considering how active they were anyways.
The meeting was nearing to a close now, and Rhine could feel a heaviness in his chest as he moved on to the last bit of news he had to announce. He didn't want to end things on a low note, but he knew his next words were necessary, "I'd also like to finish this meeting off with a warning... as I'm sure some of you have noticed, the winds of the season have been changing as of late. Things have been quite rainy, and windy. Unfortunately, it seems as though winter may be arriving for us a bit sooner than we anticipated – and a lot more harshly. I cannot say exactly when we might be hit by a storm, but I want to make sure that we're prepared. I'll be organizing a few tasks to make sure things are well protected before any possible storms very soon, but all of you are free to do your own individual preparations, obviously." There was no telling when a storm could strike, and Rhine wasn't about to risk a repeat of the hurricane. He let his gaze linger on the stone beneath him for a moment before he shook his head, smiling just a bit as he finished, "And, as usual... thank you all for the amazing activity, and keep it up. This meeting is dismissed." He then leaped smoothly down from the meeting rock, his claws digging a bit into the soft sand.
