Another three weeks had passed, and it was yet again time for Rhinestone to take his place upon the meeting stone. However, this was hardly a hassle for the tom, at least not for the moment. He had felt energized, ever since their little prank war with Alithís Evgenis had begun, as well as other Halloween festivities. The spirit of the season was in the air, and Rhine found it impossible to be tired in such an environment. This was what drove him to leap smoothly atop the high slab of stone, turning his muzzle out to face camp before he called, "All those old enough to brave the waves, gather for a meeting!" His call rang out throughout the entire camp, and he tried not to wince at the words that it contained. He hadn't even considered how it would affect Medusa, considering so many within Palmclan had a connection with the sea, and the waves. Perhaps he would figure out something else to change it to, later on. Either way, he patiently waited for his clanmates to gather as usual, his tail coming to rest on his paws.

Once an appropriate amount of others had gathered, the rust red feline cleared his throat, drawing attention to himself before he began, "Hello, everyone! The time has come for another meeting, as is usual around this time. We've got less welcoming to do than usual this time, but we should still be just as enthusiastic! So, a big clan welcome to [member=7593]number nine.[/member], and [member=4490]Tsekani[/member]. We're very glad to have you both as new members of our clan. If you have any questions, feel free to come to me." He offered the pair a brief smile, before biting down on the inside of his cheek briefly. The next piece of news was one he really didn't want to have to deliver, but he knew that it was necessary. After taking a deep breath, he finally managed to get it out, "In addition to these welcomes... it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Sugarspice has decided to step down from her position as deputy. She cares deeply about us all, but wants to go off to find her brother, and I respect her decision. Despite this, I am sure that the position will not go on empty for long." His tail flicked from side to side behind him, his face thoughtful. He really did hate to see Suga step down, but he knew it was for the best. It was better than her just disappearing on them without a word.

Still, this meeting wasn't meant to be a grim occasion, which was what spurred Rhine to continue on. He replaced the somewhat sour look on his face with a content smile, glad to share what he had to say next. He practically purred, pale eyes seeking out yet another pair of Palmclan members, "In brighter news, we've got promotions to dole out next. First off, I would like to give a shout-out to Foamkit, as well as a shout-out to Drifting-Feather. You're both still young, but I'm very glad to see you around, and I can tell you're bright kids." With shout-outs done, it was time to move on to the slightly more exciting part of promotions – real positions. Feeling excitement on the air, Rhinestonestar proudly continued, "As for proper promotions... first, I would like to promote Medusa to a senior warrior position. She has been extremely active and helpful around here, even with recent mishaps. In addition to this... I would like both Vaas and Quasar to step up as waverunners. The both of you can be very volatile, but you've also proven yourselves to be capable and active, so I'd like to see more." He was a bit uneasy about the both of them – even with his position as Quasar's father figure – but he wanted to give them a chance to grow, and impress him further.

The leader knew that he still had quite a few more things he wanted to say, but he could also tell that the crowd didn't consist of everyone quite yet. Wanting to wait for everyone to properly be around, he spoke firmly, "I have more news yet to come, so please be patient." The crowd already seemed excited enough by the news of the promotions, so he was sure they'd be fairly distracted until everyone arrived.
