A soft laugh left Nine when Drifting puffed herself up, clearly trying to intimidate him in some way. He waited patiently as Drift sniffed at him, a snort leaving the jaguar before he rumbled, "Not bird, eh? Well I suppose that I am not a bird, although I do have the wings." He shifted his wings around playfully along his spine, teasing Drifting-Feather in a friendly way. As he settled against the palm tree, Nine muttered down to Rhine and Sundust, "I don't mind her calling me that. It's a bit more accurate than Nine, right kid?" He reached a paw out, messing with the crest of Drift's head.
