LEADER ❝ RHINE ❞ PALMCLAN

Canines weren't exactly commonplace within Palmclan, at least not yet. Even less common were snarky and slightly mysterious canines that seemed to enjoy fluttering the leader of the group and catching him off guard. That particular very specific group consisted of one member of Palmclan – one Rosendo Aiza. The other had confused Rhine when he had first joined, and he hadn't really stopped confusing him since then, although the tom had gradually been growing used to the other's presence. He still found himself tensing up slightly when the large canine came over out of nowhere, but he was gradually breaking that habit with time and patience. Of course, that didn't really help at all with the flirting, something that Rhinestone wasn't ever sure he'd be able to get over – he still found himself getting a little tongue-tied when he looked at the remaining flowers sitting in his den. He just really wasn't the romantic type, especially considering his last relationship was back when he had been an apprentice.

At the moment, Rhine was trying to push Aiza out of his mind, instead trying to focus on the hunting that he was doing. He was up near where the cliffs met the forest, looking for both some of the forest prey, and some of the airborne prey at the same time. However, he wasn't having much luck, especially since the rolling hills leading up to the cliffs were difficult to balance on. It had finally seemed as though he was going to get a break when he came upon a rather unusual piece of prey – a rabbit, running through the hills. Unfortunately, the tom wasn't able to actually take advantage of it, only able to take two steps forward before his paws slipped, and he found himself rolling down one of the hills. He fully expected to collide painfully with something down below, but instead he found himself crashing directly into something large and fluffy, a frustrated shout leaving him, "Fuck! I almost had it!" Frustration rolled off of the leader in waves, although all of it quickly turned to sheepish embarrassment when he finally looked up, realizing he had rolled directly into Aiza's chest and legs.
