The tension is heavy as the mountain cat arrived on the border, watching through thoughtful eyes.  Watchful and steady, the wildcat joined the others standing besides Tena, head held high.  His spitfire friend certainly had a way with words but Lavi understood clearly.  He'd promised before -- he would always stand besides her.  He would follow her to the ends of the earth.

"With all due respect, I agree with that assessment," the Jedi spoke simply, nodding towards Rosemary.  "Elysium is a community -- an alliance with someone who clearly makes our own uncomfortable would not be right."

Lavi did not like the lion, though he kept his words plain and diplomatic.  A vague memory of Pittian Ardents past made him wary.  Slaver.  No wonder Tena hated him at first sight.  His chocolate eyes grew firm -- Lavi would not stand an alliance to any kind of depur.  He could not betray Tena like that.

In the end, it may not be his call, but every Elysium leader before had listened to the community.  They made decisions together.  But if they did not heed their word, then Lavi knew what the end result may be -- Tena would never sit by and accept something that went against her views...  He could only hope it would not come to violence in that event.
