SOOTHSAYER ❝ ROAN ❞ THE TYPHOON
At first, Roan had thought Hani and Alani to be only odd. The pair was unusual, and they set him on edge, but he had no true reason to worry about them. Elysium was small, and had practically been forgotten about before they had taken over. He had his doubts that the group would ever truly bounce back, especially when former members such as Diya were so eager to leave the place. With all of this in mind, Roan paid the pair little mind, figuring that, if there was truly anything important to discuss involving The Typhoon and Elysium, his mother would get to it. Unfortunately, the new leaders decided to cross a line, one that caused Roan's blood to warm and his jaw to set. The Typhoon had lost more than enough as of late in the form of Sam and Jaime. They didn't need some ridiculous two headed mongrel trying to lay claim to a member that had come to them. Besides that, the soothsayer knew that Diya made his mother happy, and that pleased feeling went both ways. There was no reason to separate them, save for Hani and Alani being greedy, and believing they had the rights to direct the vampire's life.
At the edge of his mind, Roan was faintly aware of the fact that Vigenere had responded to his words, but that particular matter had already been tossed aside. The medic didn't think highly of Vig, and the other being all hissing and bluster wouldn't change that, especially if the feline just proved to get himself captured or injured once again. Instead, the draconic feline directed his attention solely on Hani and Alani, his blue gaze cutting sharply towards the pair. He was aware that his mama was more than capable of answering herself, but he couldn't help the way his wings shifted outwards, and the fur on the back of his neck spiked up. He said firmly, gaze narrowed and body alight with energy as he answered them, "Diya is not one of your own. She made the decision to officially join The Typhoon, and as far as I know, had no intentions of having a dual alliance. So trust me, she is already more than home." His words were soft and quick, not brought out as a full on snarl or hiss. Despite this, the threatening nature behind them was clear, especially with the energy seeming to crackle behind the soothsayer's gaze.
