It had been some time since the name Kian had crossed Roan's mind. He wasn't sure exactly how much time, truthfully, but the last he could remember of his uncle was... when he had first introduced himself to The Typhoon as a whole. That seemed so incredibly far back now that it was almost baffling to the soothsayer, who truly wasn't anything like that overzealous boy anymore. Yes, he still harbored that same curiosity in his heart, but he was no longer so loud and enthusiastic. He had mellowed out, and been worn down by the duties of sagehood, and now the position of soothsayer. He was happy with where he was, yes, but he found himself questioning occasionally what he would be like, if he had never decided to take up the mantle of medic. Would he be happier? Really, there was no reason to dwell on it, since he had no intention of stepping down from his new position, but it did occasionally worm its way into his mind. Often when it did, the draconic feline found himself immediately heading down towards the tavern, eager to distract his brain with a game of cards.
Roan had been on his way towards his oh so precious game of poker when Kian came bounding towards the tavern, causing him to pause. It took a moment for the soothsayer to connect name to body, but it all clicked into place fast enough, especially with the questioning mutter of Keona? Kian would probably be relieved to know that she was still around and safe, even if Roan wasn't sure of exactly where she was at the moment. Making his way over to where the larger male was, Roan spread his wings slightly to drag the other's attention downward, "Uncle Kian...? It's been a while..." He then glanced up towards the tavern, digging his claws loosely into the sand before he continued, "Keona is alright. She's safe, and around, as far as I know... not sure you'll find her around here, though." Although Keona did host the occasional game night within the building, Roan didn't think that she was the biggest fan of the tavern. Not that he could blame her – considering her small size, she was liable to get trampled while inside.
