DIYA F.M.

Diya followed after Roxanne, giving the sea one last lingering glance. "It's truly a shame what happened," she mused, unsure of what to say. She hadn't really had a place she called home to be destroyed by the meteor, nothing to be broken or destroyed when the world fell apart around them.
As they entered the home, she would situate in the living room, awaiting the return of her friend. She felt a pang in her heart as she looked around the house. While it had never been her home, it had housed her for many nights when she first arrived. A sigh left her as she shook her head, disappointed by the state of the house. She didn't even think it was repairable at this point, it was too far gone. And Roxanne had been living here? That couldn't have been good for her.
"Are the kiddos still around?" she called out as the other was still in the kitchen. Seeing the other finally return, she smiled warmly. She would await Roxanne at the table, watching with interest. Roxanne's question through her off and it took her a minute to collect herself. Plans for the future? She couldn't help but shrug, gaze moving to stare off past the other. After a long moment, a sigh rumbled out of her chest. "Plans for the future? Not much, honestly..." She would be silent a moment longer before dropping her gaze to the table. "Once upon a time, I dreamed of traveling the world, tracking down what remains of my family..." Diya shook her head. "I quickly realized it was a foolish plight, with no leads to follow. So, its just me in a lonesome family of one." She would give a bitter laugh and shake her head, looking up at Roxanne. "So no, no future plans as of right now, though that may change."
