Georgia squinted, wrinkling her nose as Deniz leaned over her, this polite and ever so slightly shit eating grin on his face. She didn't know him well, but certainly recognized and knew his hair. He was dripping water all over her, too. You really couldn't throw a cat without hitting someone in the Typhoon that had some sort of connection with the ocean. She snorted, and stuck her tongue out at him."The sun just means more freckles." She tossed back, making a deliberate display of stretching and tucking her arms behind her head. "Besides, I'm sure the color of your hair is bright enough to give me more of a sunburn than the actual sun ever could."
His mother's apprentice, hm? Geo was still getting around, still figuring out family connections and whatnot. Most people were a part of the Roux family, and she'd make fun of it until she was old and dying. But in the moment, she managed to string two and two together. Along with that, she was sure she'd been here for a good while and hadn't seen him enter the water. Hm...given the lineage of Goldie and the extension of his time underwater, perhaps...
"Alright, you've convinced me," The sixteen year old announced, pulling herself up and running her fingers through sandy locks. Her hair was always in a state of disarray, and always had some beach relic caught up in it. She'd tried cutting it, once, but it didn't take. "I've been dying for some action, anyway." Georgia sighed, pulling her mane into a bun as best she could.
"Anyways," She stood, dusting off her clothes. "Think fast!"
Wind pulsed around her feet as she thrust out an arm, a column of water obeying her will and shooting from the ocean to try and knock Deniz off his feet. Georgia had just taken a not-so-calculated risk; she'd assumed that he had aquatic specialties, given his parentage and his swim, but she could also have been very wrong. No matter - either way, she'd be getting a fight. "Oops!" She called out, slightly mocking in hopes to have him give her everything he had. "Didn't mean to splash you so hard!"
