Georgia couldn't be more bored; the influx of joiners had ceased within The Typhoon, and while she hated having to turn around at every moment to greet a stranger, she hated having nothing to do even more. There was a certain quality of boredom that bothered her ceaselessly - it itched and pushed against nothing in particular, making it incredibly difficult to scratch. She wanted to engage her mentor, Goldie, but hadn't had the luxury of physical training with the Typhoon captain since she had joined. Goldie had been wounded and carrying - and though, even now she was no longer pregnant, she was still recovering. As impatient as Georgia was, she could never ask her to spar in her state. It would be stupid.

Her next goal then became to find Paola - possibly Calem. Paola because she seemed to be a decent fighter; she would seek out Calem because she knew he could control the wind, like her, and because she still wanted to pulverize him. Unfortunately, Geo hadn't seen him since his joining, and didn't care to put in the effort to find him. Paola wasn't anywhere she could find, either.

Letting out a groan of disdain and boredom, Georgia flopped down on her back, sand clinging to her messy hair. Her fingers fiddled about with the small dunes she pulled together while the ocean splashed her feet. "God - fuck, I'm bored." She whined to the sky, pouting.

Deniz hadn't been doing much training himself, honestly. With his mom on the mend, Roxanne had taken over as temporary leader. That being so, that meant she was too busy too to train with him.

"Me too," he says with a chuckle, pulling his rainbow-colored dreads over his shoulder and ringing the water out of them. He's just come from a long swim in the ocean, he'd lost track how long he'd been swimming for but it had been awhile, the sun had moved to the other side of the sky. Hair now tied up over his head in a bun, he leaned over the girl, an amused look on his face. "I don't think my mother would appreciate her apprentice getting sunburnt by laying out in the sand for who-knows-long."

Georgia squinted, wrinkling her nose as Deniz leaned over her, this polite and ever so slightly shit eating grin on his face. She didn't know him well, but certainly recognized and knew his hair. He was dripping water all over her, too. You really couldn't throw a cat without hitting someone in the Typhoon that had some sort of connection with the ocean. She snorted, and stuck her tongue out at him."The sun just means more freckles." She tossed back, making a deliberate display of stretching and tucking her arms behind her head. "Besides, I'm sure the color of your hair is bright enough to give me more of a sunburn than the actual sun ever could."

His mother's apprentice, hm? Geo was still getting around, still figuring out family connections and whatnot. Most people were a part of the Roux family, and she'd make fun of it until she was old and dying. But in the moment, she managed to string two and two together. Along with that, she was sure she'd been here for a good while and hadn't seen him enter the water. Hm...given the lineage of Goldie and the extension of his time underwater, perhaps...

"Alright, you've convinced me," The sixteen year old announced, pulling herself up and running her fingers through sandy locks. Her hair was always in a state of disarray, and always had some beach relic caught up in it. She'd tried cutting it, once, but it didn't take. "I've been dying for some action, anyway." Georgia sighed, pulling her mane into a bun as best she could.

"Anyways," She stood, dusting off her clothes. "Think fast!"

Wind pulsed around her feet as she thrust out an arm, a column of water obeying her will and shooting from the ocean to try and knock Deniz off his feet. Georgia had just taken a not-so-calculated risk; she'd assumed that he had aquatic specialties, given his parentage and his swim, but she could also have been very wrong. No matter - either way, she'd be getting a fight. "Oops!" She called out, slightly mocking in hopes to have him give her everything he had. "Didn't mean to splash you so hard!"

The teen snorts at the other's comment, shaking his head. "You say that now, but you get to deal with Roan's grumpiness when you have to go to him for aloe vera," there wasn't any malice to his tone, if anything it was teasing. He didn't bother giving the hair comment a response, he was used to it at this point. She was probably jealous she couldn't do something as cool with her own or something.

Deniz was swift to take a few steps back as the girl sat up, hands slipping into the pockets of his swim trunks as he studied her. His head tilted to the side, one eyebrow lifting as he watched her pin up her mess of hair. "you've convinced me," his mind echoes, confusion with a sliver on concern entering his mind. Just as a precaution, he lifted his hands out of his pocket and straightened his stance.

It was a good thing he did, as a stream of water came rushing at him. His hands lifted, coming together before him before pushing away from eachother. As he did so, a majority of the water split away, going around him and off to the side. Due to his unpreparedness, though, he didn't have full control and a fraction of the water slammed into his chest. While it didn't knock him over, it certainly set him off balance.

He was swift to right himself, a grin of mischief ever-growing on his face. So, she wanted a fight, hm? An interesting choice she had made in challenging him, considering his parentage and grandparentage. Whilst he was unsure if the link had made it to him, his grandfather he knew to be the demigod of rough seas and his own mother the demigoddess of raging storms. He couldn't help but wonder if Geogia was of similar lineage, if that's where her powers originated.

"Ah! It's no problem, friend! Here, let me get some of that sand off of you!" As his voiced called out, he would swiftly drop his right hand, before making a scooping motion and lifting it back into the air. As he did so, a jet of water would lift from the sea and arch above, aiming to splash down on Georgia's head. A chuckle would ring out from the brightly colored boy as he aimed to soak his mother's apprentice.

Gia was by no means a practiced master of her arts, but she was certainly familiar with her abilities and what she could do. She had traveled about with her dad, out of the way of general populations - giving her room to test and experiment with her powers. She wasn't new to them - wasn't unfamiliar. Bending the ocean's will to her own wasn't difficult. She had a right, a legacy to this power, and she was by no means afraid of it.

When Deniz managed to dodge the majority of her attack, Georgia squinted. "Someone's a little light on his feet!" She chirped. The thing about battle for her was that it was never strategic or thought out; it was adrenaline and go go go. Next move, dodge, defend, and repeat. If someone asked her what she was thinking when fighting, she'd say nothing, because it was just serotonin and adrenaline. She wasn't capable of producing a single productive thought, which...was sometimes what got her into deep waters. If she didn't have some issues, though, she wouldn't need any training then, would she?

At his rather playful return of her jibe, a smirk grew on her lips. Good; he could take some heat, then. She noticed his hand movement, but failed to catch where the water he was directing came from. The last thing she was expecting was from above, and therefore, she practically screeched when salty water doused her. "From above? Rude!" She whined, wiping water from her eyes.

With her hair bun now soaking and stuck to her neck, a whirlwind engulfed her briefly, drying her enough to bear. "Man, I hate wet clothes," She complained. Then, without warning, she sprinted towards Deniz, running flat out for a few feet before she jumped, swinging a leg midair, sending a slice of wind hurtling towards his midsection to throw his balance again. When she landed, she had already drawn water from the ocean, and shoved her arms outward to direct the water at his chest, surely knocking him off his feet.

A strong bout of laughter nusted from the teenager as he watched the other sputer. As she dried herself off, he took the moment to catch his breath and gather himself. What he wasn't expecting, though, was for her to launch another attack.

At the sight of her running he panicked, caught off guard, and began to attempt to scramble backwards. A poor choice, considering the lack of purchase the sand gave. When the first bout of water lashed out, he already already found himself tumbling backwards. His already falling state sent the water aimed at his chest directly into his face, instead. Landing with a grunt, Deniz panted from his spot in the sand. It would take several moments before he caught his breath, dreads having fallen from their bun and into the sand beside him.

"Alright, alright," he groaned, sitting up. With a shake of his head he would chuckle, looking up to her. "I give, I give, you win. Now help me up?" His tone may have been sincere, his intentions were not. As he lifted a hand for her to grab, the ocean followed the motions. His plan was for a sneak attack, to send a jet of water straight from the ocean to whichever side of her was the closest to the waves.

This was fun. This was good. Georgia liked having somebody to spar with, to push around. It was like letting down her guard in a way that she trusted. Sparring was all adrenaline; all sand under her feet and hair in her face and water at her fingertips. She loved the rush; she lived for it. It reminded her of the days she would practice with her father; they could only go so far, of course, because her father was fully mortal. He spent most of the sessions throwing things at her, sharpening her reflexes.

When Deniz reached out for support, his hand came on a little too strong. Georgia jerked backwards, knowing the water could only come from her side. She successfully dodged his attack - first time this session. "Oh, don't play dirty, De! You won't like how that ends!" Gia dug a foot into the sand, flinging it upward to kick sand into his face. She danced backwards a few feet for range and time, whistling. "How's the sand taste? I hear these beaches are particularly pristine!"

And with that, Deniz was out. For real this time, getting sand to the face sucked. Pulling a small ball of water from the ocean, he used it to quickly rinse off his face. Shaking his head, he huffed and looked at the girl with an over-the-top pout. "That 'urt!" he cried out which, delayed reaction much? He collapsed backwards in the sand, arms covering his eyes as the grains stuck to his wet skin. "I think you've blinded me! 'Ow will I ever go on!" he cried out dramatically, struggling to hide the smile on his face.

"I think after that, you owe me!" he announced, sitting up to point at her. There was a dumb, dopey grin on his face as he looked up at her, lowering his hand to shade his eyes. "Whadya say? Game o' 20 qustion's? I'll even let you ask first!" he offered, grinning.

Georgia stuck her tongue out at him again. He was the one to pull a dirty move not thirty seconds ago, and then had the audacity to act shocked when she turned it around on him. She was, by no means, against cheating in these circumstances; training only mattered if you took it seriously. Unfortunately for Deniz, that just meant he was at the butt end of all her dirty tricks.

"Oh you're fine, you big baby," The girl parroted. At his bold accusation, she crossed her arms and quirked a brow. "Owe you? You agreed to spar!" Still, she took a seat beside him, lower lip puffed out in a pout.

Oh...twenty questions? Georgia's expression didn't change, but she gnawed on the inside of her cheek. Few and far between knew much about the blonde girl, and she preferred to keep it that way. The moment she were to open up - the moment Deniz were to actually sit, listen, and care, Georgia's curse would kick in. A sucker punch to her soul, her bones would fill with the ceaseless feeling of he doesn't really care. He's just saying it to make you feel better. You don't belong here. Truthfully, the curse was just a thumb to the pressure point of trust issues. She wouldn't even think much of the feeling had her father not explained to her what it was; had she not gone through episodes of onset depression or meltdowns when her own father showed her true kindness and compassion.

Georgia had a hard time figuring if she was really afraid of opening up, or just the curse that came with it. Still... "Sure." She agreed, waving her hands so a breeze fell over them to dry them off. Pale green eyes would fall over the boy sitting next to her, and she leaned back on her hands, slightly away from him so she could see him better. Truthfully, she didn't really care to know much about him; it wasn't her business to pry into other people's lives. Their information didn't matter unless it affected her.

She had some basic questions: why the hair, why the colors. Who dunked him in a rainbow. Shit-grin sorts of things. Yet she narrowed her eyes, fingers playing with the sand under her palms. "Alright: how many siblings do you really have?"

While Deniz wasn't afraid to use dirty tricks, he didn't quite like them being used on him. And, frankly, a surprise burst of water is much different than sand to the eyes! He was about to state as such when her next comment stole the words from him. "Agreed?" he sputtered, looking taken aback. "You attacked me and I was simply defending myself," he huffed, a pout on his face.

He let that conversation fall away, instead attempting to read the other's expression. For a moment, he wondered if he had overstepped, unsure if she would agree to his silly game. Thankfully, she settled herself beside him and asked her first question. He winced, turning his head to stare off, a frown on his face and brows furrowed. "oh, hm..." It would take him a moment, wondering who he should include. Freya he would leave out, not wanting to get into such a subject.

"All together? Six. Elduin, Mariner, Law, Love, and Harlow." He didn't bother clarifying what was real names and what was nicknames. He would grow quiet for a moment, never returning his gaze to her. "Eludin and Mariner were my age but, ah, they're not around anymore..." He would wince again and shake his head.

He leaned his head over, finally returning his gaze to Geo. "What about you, any siblings?"
