DELILAH EVERGARDEN
"The Gods have forsaken us."
Family was a complicated thing. To suffer at the loss of a parental figure, one long gone or one long forgotten. Never forgiven. Delilah could relate, her parents abandoned her the moment they found out she wouldn't be like her siblings. She wouldn't be perfect.
The sound of panic and soft sympathy caught the dragoness' attention, the woman walking to catch up with the gathering crowd. To stay afloat, to not panic. Questions. So many questions went unanswered.
"What's going on? Are you alright, Bloodhound?"
Cluelessness. Delilah made a momentary glance to Aurum before her tail gently nudged his side in an attempt at comfort- was it comfort? She didn't know.
And then it clicked.
"Ivan.."
He wasn't here.
