Handing out gifts was actually one of Aurum's favorite activities when it came to diplomatic interactions with other groups. Obviously he had done far more in the past as the proxy of Tanglewood, but simple interactions like gift giving were still at the top of his list. Just because he enjoyed seeing the grateful smiles on the faces of the recipients when they realized what was going on. It was a wonderful reaction, and one he wished to produce in others fairly often. So, when he heard Icarus calling out and asking for others to come and patrol out to the larger groups, the lion was almost instantly on his feet and trotting over. His first thought was to take a basket to Tanglewood, but he was nearly given whiplash with how handily his body rejected that idea, his chest clenching painfully. After all, he had only just left the other group, so the thought of going back so soon, especially with all of the memories still lingering? No, he'd need at least a week to even begin thinking of the place again, let alone go there. He did feel some level of homesickness already, but the kindness and friendly interactions with other knights within the Knights of Concord had already begun to melt that away, and so when he approached, he had a different idea in mind.
Even though the idea of going with Icarus to Elysium was tempting – he hadn't seen Rin since the messenger incident, after all – he was pretty certain already of where he wanted to go. Moving over to where the baskets were set out, the male pawed one over to himself, saying simply, "I'll take one to the Typhoon, I've got plenty of friends there. Others are free to join me, but be prepared for a flight if you do." He didn't really want to have to make anyone run after him on the ground while he was flying overhead, so if anyone wanted to come with him, he would just have them hold onto his back. Hopefully, if anyone else did decide to come with, they wouldn't have a fear of heights. Chuckling a bit at the thought, the angel leaned down to grip the handle of the basket in his muzzle, being especially careful not to splinter the vulnerable weave. He gave a glance back to see if anyone was following before he headed off, offering a nod to Icarus as he moved past him. Hopefully this trip would be quick and painless, and would allow him to see some old friends while also helping his new home.
