The tom shoots Gordon a quick smile upon her arrival, glad to see the other apparently settling in well enough. No one here is actually an entirely new face, he realizes, but Icarus doesn't mind — he thinks it must be a good sign that he's already getting around the clan well enough, and he's always interested in learning about those he's already been acquainted with regardless. Whiskers twitch with thought as she mentions Sunhaven and the Ascendants; curious names, albeit ones he hardly recognizes, though it makes sense considering her note about their not being around anymore. Even curiouser. Impressive that Gordon had been a high position in both, however — he'll have to make not to inquire about the groups at another time. Then there's Safflower's answer to his previous query; so he'd simply found then lying around the manor? Icarus nods contemplatively. He makes a note to keep an extra eye out for any snowglobes the next time he explores the grand estate's many corridors, but for now he lets it go as the other male moves on.
He feels another smile spread across his lips at Safflower's next prompt — it's certainly a good one, for he hardly knows how to answer. Icarus pays attention to the others first, brows lifting and green eyes growing round at the asker's own response. The feline himself has been around the Knights for a few moons now, just enough to feel fully used to the way things are run around here, but two years is more than respectable. Gordon is next, and he finds himself nodding idly in understanding. He's been a part of plenty of groups, big and small, though why here is a question he fears he has no proper answer to. The golden tom has a tendency to go wherever the breeze takes him, so it's hardly a surprise that he'd wound up on the windswept moors. He hums thoughtfully before finally answering, "Well, I really just joined out of curiosity. I really stumbled upon the border, after all, but I'm glad I stayed."
