The Irishman had seen many meteor showers in his life.  Although that was true, they occurred only so often that the faerie hardly thought twice about trotting away from his hut and taking a seat to observe the mystical sight.  Quietly, he curled his tail to rest neatly over his paws and turned his face skyward.

Briefly, his sea-green eyes shifted back down to the shore.  A thought began lingering in the back of his mind, an uncertain desire to seek out his children.  Yet he suspected his son may be at Roxanne's side and his daughter to feel indifferent over falling stars.  He sighed heavily, letting his eyes refocus on the sky.  He made one hell of a father, didn't he?
