As he stated up at the big brute he couldn’t help but stare at that eyepatch.

God he was fucking ugly!

Did he hear anything they said? No. But he did tune in when a bing feathery wing spread in front of him. He wanted to try that later, when no one was watching of course.

“Nobody needs to teach me anything! I already know how to fly! I... i...” he averted his eyes as they hopped around while he tried to come up with a quick lie, “I just don’t fly around you fucks because I don’t want to make you all feel bad about yourselves!”

He would step back, wings still dragging. He would snorted and stare at that single eye. Surely his confidence would cause some miracle to happen.

It took a lot of focus but he would try to recreated what Aurum had done. Singing and clenching his teeth he tried to simply raise them off the ground. They moved and flicked a little. The wings quaked like someone attempting to do a push up before falling. Just as quick they gave out and he pinned his ears back.
