[glow=white,1,400]I LOVE YOU, CANNIBAL QUEEN ! — 。+゚.[/glow]
Roxanne felt guilty about breaking the other's necklace which had been the only remnants of their mother, the guilt having eaten at her for the most part. She had been blinded by rage and the heat of the moment, once blood had spilled Roxie had lost control of what she had been doing. Almost like she had blacked out in that fiasco even so, it wasn't excuse for the horrible thing she had done. Roxanne had hurt Aphra even after the taller femme had reached out to her during her depressive state, she held in a breath just remembering it all. The time they had spent together had been dear to her even if she wouldn't outwardly admit it to her former rival now turned friendly acquaintance. Maybe it was time to get over the thoughts of Aphra ever stealing someone from her, Aphra had been for her. There was nothing to get angry about anymore. Maybe... They could even become good friends. The thought causing a flutter to rise through her stomach, her eyes half closed as she held onto the glass of piña colada, uncertainty lingering within her.
Roxanne knew how it felt like to be disowned but she never felt all that bad about it especially since, well, she had been very young and the moment she had been weaned was when her father had taken her underneath his care. Her name was definitely a lot different than Aphra's name, her name meant dawn or bright, radiant one and it had been her father to give her the name. She didn't know what her sisters names meant but she was glad that her own wasn't as harsh as Aphra's though to be fair. The name was fairly unique aside from what it meant, Aphra would never be dirt to Roxanne. Not anymore anyways back then it might be something she would've used against the other femme but now, she just wanted to get away from their sorrows and spend time with one another. That's what friends did, right?
Her gaze shifted over to turn in the direction of Aphra when the cup hit the counter practically demanding her attention at this point, her pupils widened in that moment only to dilate into a smaller size. A frown on her maw listening to the other begin to apologize, she wasn't sure of what exactly but she was certain that it was more than one thing and Roxie appreciated it even if her own guilt began to eat at her once more. She took a deep breath nudging the femme eith her elbow gently with a shy smile "It's alright, Aphra." She began a little hesitantly only to continue with her eyes lowered to her drink, a soft sigh escaping her "You're not the only one needing to apologize... I should've never broke your necklace knowing how much it mean t'ya. I'm sorry, I was a real asshole and there wasn't any excuse to my actions." She shifted a bit in her seat only to frown slightly hearing what she said next. So, that's what it had been about. That's who had scratched her up, an anger bubbled within her though her ears pressed against her head only to say with a light shrug.
"I'm sorry, you had to find out what he's really like but... The guy's an asshole and a real grade A bag of dicks. You're his kid and he hurt you, hope he chokes." She huffed angrily. [glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:・゚[/glow]
