He was familiar enough with Hushsound, to say the least. If not Mariner, Goldie, or Sam taking care of him- Mother, Mom, and Momma to him- it was Aunt Rox or Hushsound. His eyes slid towards him, and a low grumble came from the child. He knew damn well what that question was going to ask him, and his ears flattened as he looked away, lifting his nose and shaking out his fur. "Nobody told me I couldn't!" He declared, before bouncing back towards the waves, sliding into it for a moment before promptly jumping back out, making a flat hissing noise at the wave. Really, cold? He snorted, turning his head.
He caught sight of the black and tawny speckled cub, and his own fur stood on end, his ears shoving back forward with a long, large grin catching his muzzle. Well, well, well. Who was this? As he came closer, and introduced himself, Brandy's ears twitched. His siblings weren't big enough to keep up with him, so maybe this kid here could stand up to the challenge. "Nice t' meet y', Ry." A tiny bit of a snicker emitted from him, his own stark white tail swaying behind him. He was slowly lowering himself down, as if to pounce this second cousin of his, before he cursed softly. His curse wasn't anything profane, yet, but still. A curse.
His mother had found him.
He grumbled gently as his mom came closer, pressing her nose to his head. An idle look slid towards Ry, then back away. This was embarrassing, wasn't it? "I'm not fishing." He declared flatly. His ears, had however relaxed at the petname she had called him. His nose turned into the air, a 'hmph' emitting from his mouth. It was be a lie, though, that he wasn't happy to see Goldie moving. In fact, he was fighting off a wide grin that was tell-tale about seeing his mother up and active.
