Now Ivan had noticed Kaito coming out of his house. Whenever new scents hit his nose, he was hyper aware. He couldn't say that he preferred living alone. All he had known was the warmth of his family but he did notice that everyone was getting bigger and he was less tolerant than he used to be if someone accidentally stepped on his tail.
The thin black cat slunk over to get a closer look at this person who had just tumbled out of his uncle's house. He crouched, his sharp shoulders jutting out of his lanky figure. He blinked once and stalked over, trying to perfect his technique. He found his long limbs to be at his disadvantage when stalking prey, but he was learning. Slowly but surely he inched his way over, tail whisking the ground. He pounced, but he was too far and only landed a mere foot away from Kaito. As if that wasn't enough to stir the other feline from his sunbathing, Ivan whipped out a paw and attempted to brutally tap Kaito twice on the shoulder, his eyes gleaming with kittenish pleasure.
