A sneeze escaped Kaito as he left the house he (regrettably) was sharing with Aurum and his actual son, Roy. He slipped through the door, frowning a bit. Actually living with someone was... difficult, to say the least. A cough escaped the lad as he padded down the stairs, soft and gentle, as if he couldn't be heard, which was natural for him. It doesn't take long before he finds a place where he can essentially sun, and then crashes down to feel the warmth of the star. Now Ivan had noticed Kaito coming out of his house. Whenever new scents hit his nose, he was hyper aware. He couldn't say that he preferred living alone. All he had known was the warmth of his family but he did notice that everyone was getting bigger and he was less tolerant than he used to be if someone accidentally stepped on his tail.
The thin black cat slunk over to get a closer look at this person who had just tumbled out of his uncle's house. He crouched, his sharp shoulders jutting out of his lanky figure. He blinked once and stalked over, trying to perfect his technique. He found his long limbs to be at his disadvantage when stalking prey, but he was learning. Slowly but surely he inched his way over, tail whisking the ground. He pounced, but he was too far and only landed a mere foot away from Kaito. As if that wasn't enough to stir the other feline from his sunbathing, Ivan whipped out a paw and attempted to brutally tap Kaito twice on the shoulder, his eyes gleaming with kittenish pleasure. Aurum honestly hadn't thought much of taking Kaito into his home, mainly due to the fact that it just felt so natural. After all, the other pretty much already felt like a second son to him after Roy, and it just became the norm after a while to have the thief within the walls of his home. However, it was beginning to become more unusual to see Kaito actually leaving his home, rather than just lingering inside of it, obviously displeased with what had happened to his own house. This meant that when Aurum saw Kaito pass him by to head outside for the first time in what felt like a long while, he found his interest piqued. Looking up from the book that he had been enjoying on his large couch, the tigon slipped down from the cushions, landing on his paws and following after, albeit at a slower pace. When he stepped out from his home and saw how Ivan threw himself at Kaito's side unsuccessfully, the angel found himself laughing, a smile curling on his muzzle. Sitting down at the edge of the porch, Aurum rumbled as his tail curled slowly around his paws, "Looks like you made a new friend there, Kaito." Kaito was practically an unofficial sort of cousin to Moth's children at this point, so it would be good for them to get along.

The warmth of the sun was rather comforting, and well, it made him feel better to soak up the sun's rays. He stretched out a bit as well, because it was hard to get the sunshine this year. His blue gaze flickered, making sure to not stare straight into the sun - being a phantom thief would be hard if he was blind, right? Then he closes them, leaning his head back before he feels two, almost sharp prods on his shoulder. Immediately, the adolescent jumps up, his fur on end and he's ready to go. "What do you-" he rudely begins. Then cuts himself off, biting his tongue and silently cursing as he sees it is a mere child. He sighs, running a paw through the fur on top of his head. "Was that just a prank?" Kaito deadpans. The domestic cat turns, hearing the steps, the slight creak at the edge of the porch. He gazes at the pregnant tigon, and he sighs once more as Aurum thought this was fun. Honestly, given his dislike of childish attitudes, somewhat, he wanted to just slam his head into a rock. Instead, he smirks and waves at the fatherly figure. "What do ya mean, 'a new friend'? I might be able to teach 'im some stuff!" Of course, thief stuff. He points his paw towards the black cat, grinning even further. Re: one pair, two pair, full house - return to activity - Ivan - 03-20-2020 [table][tr][td]

Ivan really wasn't sure what reaction he was trying to pull from Kaito, but it wasn't this. Usually people laughed and let it go, since he was a child. As much as he prided himself on the advancements of his mind, he was still a kitten who needed physical stimulation to practice stalking techniques and develop agility. "Well, if it wasn't a prank, I would have shredded your ears instead of tapping you." Ivan defended himself. Aurum's voice quickly sliced through the gentle mental humming Ivan did to keep himself occupied. He blinked slowly and turned his head to listen. A new friend — was he perhaps Aurum's son? He came from the house and Aurum seemed fond of him. "My name is Ivan. I'm Selby and Moth's son." He introduced himself, quickly stiffening up his bony shoulders at the mention of being taught. Ivan liked to think of himself as self-made and admittedly was too full of himself to accept that he could use guidance, even as he was painfully aware that he needed something like that. "What kind of stuff?" Re: one pair, two pair, full house - return to activity - wormwood. - 03-22-2020 ☆ HUNG PICTURES OF PATRON SAINTS UP ON MY WALL TO REMIND ME THAT I AM A FOOL. While he admittedly hadn't really seen Kaito interact with anybody that was much younger than him before, Aurum definitely hadn't been expecting such a displeased reaction to Ivan's little prank. It was hardly the end of the world, and the proxy had even found himself chuckling before he noticed Kaito's deadpan. A frown pulled at his muzzle as he watched the thief calm himself down, his eye narrowing when Kaito spoke of "teaching" Ivan things. The angel warned softly from where he sat, a sigh leaving him as he shook his head, unamused by Kaito's antics, "There are certain things I'm sure Moth and Selby wouldn't mind you teaching him... thievery is not one of them, just to be clear." He normally wouldn't be so blunt, but the tigon wasn't exactly looking to have his sister angrily bursting into his house because Ivan had stolen something from someone else.
