The strong gust of wind caught the hybrid off guard, sending her head over heels at least a few feet, hitting her back against a tree pretty hard. The wind was knocked out of her as she struggled to get back on her feet, hearing the loud thud as the wyvern landed. Just as I thought, she shook her head, looking up to the beast before her, watching as electricity began to crackle across their wings and legs and by then Playerone was standing with much better balance.
Just in time to, as she watched the creature slam one of their feet into the ground, sending a shockwave in her direction. Her legs then surged with energy as she ran in the opposite direction of the blast, before taking a wild curve and running towards the wyvern, hoping to catch her off guard.
“Let’s get this over with.” She muttered, summoning as much strength as she could to jump up and attempt to give the wyvern’s face a nasty scratch with her claws, before attempting to jump back up and kick with a back leg, hoping to land a blow to the wyvern’s jaw. These fights weren’t fair, and she was a bit rusty, but she wouldn’t give up, even with as much of a size and power difference between them. But strength and size alone can be evened out with skill and cunning.
“I hope you didn’t arrive just to disappoint me.” The Elysite taunted, a faint smirk on her face. To attack her, alone, in the dead of night? This creature had only one purpose then- to kill her or Rin. Perhaps both, considering her friendship with Rin and Nemhain by extension. A kill to damage psychologically would make sense in this scenario.
She remained at the ready to attack as well as defend, should her blows land in some shape or form. She was a pretty quick creature, if she could say so herself. That was what many had told her in fights in the past. It was one of her many strengths, as well as her intellect. But her temper could use some toning down, as it didn’t help her much as she saw from experience. Like the wind gust earlier. That was from her not paying attention and being too caught up in her own rage.
But this would be a whole different game. She could sense that already.
