It was quite a relief to have the medical branch expand, especially for someone with such poor health as her own. It wasn't that she got sick easily or anything like that, no, her immune system was in peak condition, it was just her circulatory system that was a bit out of whack. Nothing too serious, at least not in her own eyes, though others would likely consider it perilous that her blood did not clot nearly as easily as that of others. Hemophilia was a mutation that had always plagued her, it wasn't anything out of ordinary, though the girl wasn't even sure if anyone knew of her condition here besides Killua. Jacob perhaps, but he hadn't seen it, so he may not know the severity of it.
There were a plethora of situations where the girl had almost lost her life, had no one come to her rescue. Usually it had been Maria, but seeing as her mother was no longer of this plane of existence, others willingly sacrificed a moment of their time to come to her rescue, as Killua had done. The girl could temporarily treat her own injuries, however she was not medically inclined from her previous experiences attempting the craft. Each time a herb book lay before her paws she was reminded of the lives she had been unable to save, the brothers who had all died of an unknown illness while she lived on. The subject just brought too much pain back from the past, no matter how many times she tried. Her personality and gentle nature may seem to be compatible, but the mental hindrance was too strong. No matter how much the girl wished to leave the past behind, she just couldn't, not this part anyway. She could not just forget the lives that she could have saved had she just tried.
But none of that mattered now, what did was Izuku. He had done well during the tryouts, and was now granted access to actively pursue the path of medicine. He seemed rather exuberant, the excitement on his features causing a smile to appear on her's. "Congratulations!" the girl would chirp. Though she did not know the boy that well, or even at all besides seeing his face on a few occasions, but she still felt it to be kind to come and congratulate him. Wasn't that what clanmates were supposed to do? Well, whatever the case, it did not matter now as the words had already left her mouth.
