Nemhain and Rin showing up did not surprise Mistrim. Whenever a group was seen they were always ready to scope things out. This wasn’t a bad thing per say but when you were trying to avoid people it became hard, especially since Nemhain never seemed to sleep. Mistrim had been successful (as far as she knew) at avoiding other Elysites in the wake of her training sessions but it was an annoying endevour to say the least.
It seemed like the two had met the lynx already, which also was not surprising. Then preceded to watch as the oddball began to greet everyone. Half of her was amused at the vigor of which he did everything with, the other half disturbed by his nearly crazed nature. It didn’t help when he viewed her with such interest.
She visibly shrunk back as he got close. Her ears flattening against her horns and her tail wrapping protectively around herself. Her wings fluttered slightly in panic at the proximity. She didn’t pick up on the fact that he saw her as a child, something while admittedly was a good assumption, Mistrim would most definitely be a little embarrassed about.
While she shrunk away from Sterling she lightly bumped into someone else. She turned, about to apologize before she saw who it was. She couldn’t help the small smile. Admittedly she had been worried, she hadn’t seen Lemy since the checkup after the Ferryman‘s defeat and when she did he wasn’t in a good state. Perhaps the two‘s separation was a combination between his healing and her own detachment but it made her glad that he was okay. Despite his mocking and banter, she really did see him as a friend and to see him back in a good condition just made her a bit happier.
She mumbled a quiet apology to Lemy for bumping into him, but she sat next to him with a smile. Even if he didn’t like most people, he was sure to have a friend in her. She just wasn’t sure if he knew that.
