It seemed to be a more and more common occurence that people were questioning why Tanglewood chose to stay inside their little swamp, and honestly Aurum was pretty sure it was a question that would remain until Tanglewood completely vanished off the face of the earth. At least in this case they weren't actually saying it out loud, just thinking it. Aurum had been taking a walk through the area, a book about herbs clenched carefully in his jaws, when the unfamiliar scent of Kris hit his nose. Carefully putting the book down on a nearby tree root, the lion then made his way over to where the much smaller cat was, sitting back on his haunches. Once he was comfortable, he offered Kris a warm smile, rumbling to them, "Hello there, little one. You're on Tanglewood territory. Would you mind telling me your name, and why you're here?" It was straightforward, but the little feline didn't seem like that much of a threat, so Aurum didn't feel the need to ask more questions.
