Maybe she had been a bit rough with the whole tackling him over but she supposed that she would make up for it later. Her eyes never leaving him in that moment, though a part of her was anxious. What if she was moving too fast? What if her actions were far too rash? Several what ifs buzzed in her mind but before she was drowned out by her own thoughts, the voice of the male that was underneath her had snapped her out of her brief daze. Hearing him tell her that she needn't apologize for her harsh behavior made her frown a bit though he had a point that he had been a dumbass, she didn't feel as if her actions or words had been the correct way of handling any situation.
Especially when Greed had meant so much to her, the possibility of her hurting him only made her heart and insides ache with a soft emotional pain. It felt like small claws embedding themselves into her heart though her maw opened as eh would speak with a small shake of her head "I mean, essentially we're both dumbasses." Faint traces of a smile starting to form on her lips, in a big way, she wasn't wrong. Something that was meant to be a single night had turned into well, this. Roxie hadn't known she would have fallen in love with Greed or let alone the jaguar feeling the same for her in the end. She presses her nose further into the fur in his neck murmuring "But ya didn't deserve it in the end. . . Or that one time I bit you," That had been a dick move of her but she still couldn't stifle the giggle that escaped her after speaking that one moment. If anything, she would probably let Greed bite her back if he wished to get even though she kept silent in that one moment.
She perked up hearing him suddenly stop speaking, she began to grow worried that maybe he didn't really feel the same way. She took a deep breath, it had been so long since Roxie had been this close to Greed. She missed it. The sound of his heart racing and thumping within his chest made her forget about her own in that moment, her ears twitching slightly. She would glance up at him unable to hide that shy smile on her face, so he had meant it. About being together. It made her heart race and flutter, the butterflies in her tummy growing restless. Roxanne got slightly startled when she felt herself rise as Greed took a long breath, but at his next words well, she could already feel her eyes starting to sting.

Roxanne closes her eyes feeling his paw wrap around her with his chin resting on her neck, loud purrs erupting from the small feline and causing her entire body to vibrate with absolute joy "I love you so much," Hearing what he said made her snort with amusement, with her head lifting up just a bit as her mismatched gaze locked with his. God, she loved those eyes of his and well, she didn't hesitate in taking the shades from the top of his head where they had been resting. A giggle escaping her as she took his large paw into her arms "I could say just the same, handsome. We're both lucky," She took a deep breath only to find herself having a small fit of giggles escape her. She didn't mean to laugh but she found his words to be very cute and endearing to her.
"I didn't think you'd be so cheesy, Greed."
Before the jaguar could answer her, the small feline takes his muzzle into her paws and leans forward to give him a passionate kiss. Which was quite the feat with how much smaller she was than Greed yet she wouldn't let that stop her from giving her new lover all the love and affection she wanted to express to him.
