Aurum was no stranger to zoning out, particularly when he was thinking of the past, or something that meant a great deal to him. Still, it was... surprising, to see Kaito seem to drift off for a moment, soft words leaving his muzzle that Aurum had nearly no hope of understanding. It was completely unlike the childish and upbeat persona Aurum had grown used to from Kaito, and he was almost disappointed when the feline snapped out of it. Still, he felt a soft smile spread across his face when he found out he had hit, a soft and deep chuckle leaving him, in sharp contrast to the quick laughter leaving Kaito. He said with a pleased hum, his tail flicking back and forth, "A4, then?" It was in this moment, however, that he found himself looking at Kaito curiously. Leaning forward the faintest bit, he mumbled to the boy with the tilt of his head, "Hmm... you have fascinating eyes, Kaito. I never noticed." It could be said that Aurum had fascinating eyes as well, but that was mainly due to the lack of one of them, and not the presence of another color shining hidden within them.
