NOTHING SWEET 'BOUT MY MISERY -
♕tags-powers♕
[OOC: ]
Eyes would close as a they began to groom him. He would sit there, just listening to their wise words and basking in their soft touch.
It brought immense comfort to know that he had touched someone’s life in such a good and seemingly impactful way. It was also a nice and fresh perspective to think that they hated him out of jealousy rather than belief he was evil.. and as much as he wanted to believe it was all envy, he feared the worst.
“I just want my children...”, he would say in a fragile whisper. He would shove his face in Bai’s armored scales. He felt his face quaking and didn’t wish for them to see the stoic mask break. Even if momentarily. But he wouldn’t cry, not around others.
Kydobi sighed as his eyebrows furled together in a frown. He had thought of a million things. Most of which, his children’s opinion on him. The marauder desperately wanted them to love him, he craved and fantasized about a relationship with them. A blossoming father and child bond that would only grow stronger and stronger as years passed.
The last thing he ever wanted any of his children to experience was a broken home. Before he knew of their existence he had always imagined his a happy home, with both parents in the picture. But that was far from what he got. And it was hard, he didn’t want them to feel that deep loneliness he had experienced so young. He didn’t want them to be damaged the way a lost child can be.
What he really didn’t want was them to view him as he viewed his father figure.
That was scariest of all.
He would blink away the heat building in his eyes. Knowing the dark tears wouldn’t do any good.
”I didn’t mean for them to happen. Didn’t think me and their mother were even... compatible like that.” he winced as he felt their tongue touch his wound, “but they’re here and I owe them as a father.”
