Valerian had been adjusting well, as far as Rin could tell. She had been keeping an eye on him, and hadn't seen any more signs of whatever it was that caused him to attack the rabbit so savagely. If there was a possessor involved, they hadn't shown themselves. She had to admit part of her was waiting for the other shoe to drop; she had known possessed creatures who had remained "normal" for months before suffering a sudden takeover.
Still, as long as he was calm and adjusting well, she could appreciate that much. She'd be on standby if something happened out of nowhere, and with her telekinesis and Valerian's size- a decent size for a domestic feline, but nonetheless a domestic feline- she could probably handle the situation without anyone getting hurt. Of course, if he or his possible possessor could shapeshift, that might change things... she'd have to put some serious thought into her plan so that she had contingencies for such cases.
As it was now, though, he seemed fine- and he had cookies. Spying a snickerdoodle in the basket, Rin approached quietly, her gaze flickering between Valerian and Lemy. Apparently they were "thank you" gifts; she'd given such gifts to the Typhoon before, after they helped her recover from her injuries. Off-task, part of her wondered how Idyllfields was doing. They'd appeared to be fine after the Pitt raid, but it had been a while since then.
Shaking her head, Rin walked over to the basket and took the snickerdoodle. "Thank you for the cookies," she said, twitching her ears. "Adjusting well, I assume?"
