Aine didn't want Goldenluxury here. The scary tigress belonged far away, not in her home. Like a monster under the bed, she shouldn't just stay. Someone ought've sent her back to where she came from.
Instead, the pirate stayed. Looking for a new ardent or whatever. The petite vixen hardly cared about that. Let Fourthwall or her da take over. They got the message about slavery. Fine. It wasn't like either had slaves. And they weren't scary. They didn't bring the fire.
Aine hadn't liked Jervis much. He lacked the same friendliness of Kydobi and Fourthwall. He lacked the warm smiles she got from her father. He just liked being in charge.
But Goldenluxury was not an improvement. Not even sweets could change that in her mind. The tigress had become entirely synonymous with false gifts and fire.
So the little fox lingered far behind Fourthwall, her golden-hazel hues glinting with something cold as she regarded the pirate. She brought the others. She was the reason Kydobi was gone. She brought nothing but destruction. She was a bully.
"Wh... What're you even looking for in an-an ardent," she inquired softly, her voice tinged with a knife's sharpness. If this wasn't Goldenluxury's culture, how was she supposed to pick someone for them? That didn't make sense. "Who gave you the right... To choose for us? You-you just like bein' in charge too."
"We should choose," she muttered, scuffing the ground irritably.
