LAY DOWN YOUR TOOLS / q&a - bubblegum - 12-13-2019 Re: LAY DOWN YOUR TOOLS / q&a - Crackers - 12-13-2019 FOURTHWALL & GLITCHHOP BLACK-GOLD MOTTLED HELLHOUND / BROWN-GOLD MOTTLED HELLHOUND MALE - 22 - SOCIAL & VIOLENT / FEMALE - 17 - OBEDIENT & CHEERFUL - THE PITT ______________________________________________________________________________ THEY SAY THAT I AM THE SICK BOY EASY TO SAY WHEN YOU DON'T TAKE THE RISK, BOY OOC- again, soooo sorry that he's a horrible ass! I love Goldie and am totally excited for the plot it wasn't a secret that Fourthwall didn't want her here. To many Goldenluxury likely stood as a bastion of hope, a warrior against injustice. To Fourth though, she was the very chain she was trying to destroy. He had come to the Pitt because it was a place that didn't discriminate like she and her people did. The truth of the matter was that the world had some crazy, twisted, sick people in it, people like him- but they were still that, people. And he had a right to live the life he wanted to, weather it included enslaving someone, starting wars, comitting murder, or stabbing his best friend in the back. And in all the world, this was the only damn place that had given him that freedom, weather that made him a bad person or not. And she had taken it all away like some power-hungry bitch because it wasn't up to her standards. Wine red eyes watched her from a distance as she went about her work, expression blank save for the most subtle undertone of annoyance. With Jervis subdued and Kydobi dead, it should be him leading the clan as the only remaining Marauder,, and had circumstances been different he definitely would not be sitting quietly by to let the enemy do as they ppleased in his clans camp. He didn't expect the rest of them to fight. They had suffered more than they deserved since the attack and he knew there was no need to make them go through more. Rest assured though, if he was not stuck in the body of a pregnant fox with a stomach full of children, he would gladly take her by the throat himself. He was still rueful and angry over the timing of it all, because if he hadn't been forced to conserve himself in order to protect his kids he would have given a lot more in the fight, would have helped Jervis properly in the fight against her. Maybe if Goldenluxury had fallen things would have been different. Kydobi would still be alive. Maybe Vox wouldn't have left. Aine wouldn't have had to fight. But Fourth hadn't helped him. Couldn't. His fox body was cut and battered badly enough as it was, and he couldn't sacrifice more. He'd have lost the litter if he'd tried to fight harder, and he wasn't content to do that. As she finished doing setting up whatever she was doing and called out, Fourth let a soft snort slip from him, frown deepening for only a moment before he sighed. Who was he kidding? He wasn't going to stay away. She may be here calling herself their temporary leader, but he'd never truly recognize her authority. This was his territory, his clan, and he would not avoid her while brooding in the shadows. If she wanted to get to know him and the other Pittians, then get to know them she would. Getting to his paws the black and brindle fox made his way over with unrushed, confident steps. He looked relaxed and unbothered, claiming a seat close to a plate of gingerbread cookies, which he pulled toward himself. "I've got a question." the fox would say as he took a quick bite of his snack before turning his gaze on her. "How long do you plan on staying?" No, it was not the kindest or most elegant question, but it was an honest one none the less. How long was she expecting her little 'search for a real leader' to take? "And none of that philosphical 'until the right one comes along' shit, I mean a serious timeframe. A couple weeks? A Month?" And he wasn't asking just to be a smartass. The Pitt had a lifestyle to upkeep. They were a warbound, agressive group, and even if 'slavery' wasn't tolerated any more that didn't mean they weren't going to go about their other regular activities, like raids and captures. And since Goldie-girl here was aparrantly friends with the entire damn world, that was going to put a serious wrench in the way things worked around here. He didn't intend to raise his kids under a rule led by this outsider, and as far as he was concerned she was on borrowed time here. [div style="width: 360px; font-family: palatino; color: #2e8b57; text-align: left; padding-top: 15px; padding-left: 10px"]I'LL COME BACK WHEN YOU CALL ME Aine didn't want Goldenluxury here. The scary tigress belonged far away, not in her home. Like a monster under the bed, she shouldn't just stay. Someone ought've sent her back to where she came from.

Instead, the pirate stayed. Looking for a new ardent or whatever. The petite vixen hardly cared about that. Let Fourthwall or her da take over. They got the message about slavery. Fine. It wasn't like either had slaves. And they weren't scary. They didn't bring the fire. Aine hadn't liked Jervis much. He lacked the same friendliness of Kydobi and Fourthwall. He lacked the warm smiles she got from her father. He just liked being in charge. But Goldenluxury was not an improvement. Not even sweets could change that in her mind. The tigress had become entirely synonymous with false gifts and fire. So the little fox lingered far behind Fourthwall, her golden-hazel hues glinting with something cold as she regarded the pirate. She brought the others. She was the reason Kydobi was gone. She brought nothing but destruction. She was a bully. "Wh... What're you even looking for in an-an ardent," she inquired softly, her voice tinged with a knife's sharpness. If this wasn't Goldenluxury's culture, how was she supposed to pick someone for them? That didn't make sense. "Who gave you the right... To choose for us? You-you just like bein' in charge too." "We should choose," she muttered, scuffing the ground irritably. © MADI Re: LAY DOWN YOUR TOOLS / q&a - bubblegum - 12-19-2019 |
