Those same sentiments could be applied to everyone else in his acquaintanceship but the male's earlier remarks of 'I don't want to hurt you' put him in the same category as Videogames; people who will end up hurting him in the future. No ifs, no buts. It was inevitable. That same twisted mentality applied to Lemy as well; sooner or later he was going to hurt someone and that was that. (It was easier, to think that.)
Despite his uneasiness with the other feline, Lemy was set on playing nice. Picking fights with other groupmates would put him in a bad light. So, when he spotted the guy just sitting around with a gift basket next to him, he approached. "Hey, are ya goin' on a picnic?" Lemy asked playfully, poking at the basket. He eyed the stuffed toys and the craftsmanship for a few lingering moments then resumed making eye contact.
