It was... honestly pretty awkward, acting as the method of transportation for both Selby and Moth as they poured their hearts out to each other, especially being Moth's brother, but Aurum found that he didn't care that much. After all, it was sweet that the two had found each other, and at the moment his focus was solely on putting one foot in front of the other, even as his body urged him to just collapse in on himself. He swore he could smell fresh blood in the air, but he wasn't sure if it was from him or Selby, so he just ignored it, continuing forward even as Selby and Moth specified their romantic love. The situation was odd enough to warrant a soft snort of air in amusement from him, but he kept silent, only offering a nod when Moth said that he tried his best. He still felt like he should've tried harder somehow, just to make sure that Selby hadn't ended up in this mess, but... he knew that if he went back in time, he probably still wouldn't have been able to make it away from Kydobi. The lion's thoughts of both the battle and the love confession going on atop his spine were forgotten swiftly once he crossed the border into camp, and he forced himself forward towards where he knew the herbs were kept. His movements were almost robotic as he continued forward, feeling Selby pass out and become dead weight as he grew close. Once he was finally qhere they needed to be, Aurum let his legs out from beneath him, slowly sinking to the ground and letting his chin hit it as well. He rumbled softly to Moth as he laid there, sounding both amused and pained, "That was all very sweet... but you should probably get him patched up." The unsaid and me too was left in the air, the lion not wanting to be selfish about his oqn injuries when Selby was in his current state.
