we'll see the sun come up again, we'll climb higher than we've been
A noisy creature was attracted to the growth of more noise. His wings buzzed, feet clacked, mandibles clicked, and scales scraped as he moved along. The noise of shouts brought the lumbering beast over, who was just as attracted to the sound of shouting and fighting as he was to the light. Cicadas were not commonly brought to a vibrant light as, for say, a moth was. He came over nonetheless. There was the tone of anger in the air, which made Astiar recoil. It was foul to hear, and it was loud and hurt his ears. After a brief moment of pause the cicada continued trudging closer.
Redvox was speaking. Astiar couldn't understand any of it. Kydobi was on fire, but the cicada didn't quite grasp the pain and fury that came from the flames. He was more delighted to see two familiar faces than fully grasp the situation at hand. It was debatable if he could even understand the issue at hand - and equally questionable to the inquiry of if the dragon would even care. His wings buzzed, a deep rumble sounding from the back of his throat. Then a click of his mandibles. It was his personal greeting towards Kydobi. Astiar had never encountered fire before. Yet he was still concerned, tail hanging on the dirt behind him. Despite how lackluster and barren his thoughts were, Astiar could manage both concern and curiosity. He deemed Kydobi part of his colony, and Redvox as well. His head lowered, looking at Redvox with as utterly baffled an expression he could manage, then turning back to Kydobi. He whined in concern, and without a coherent thought to guide him, reached out with his massive talons to nudge the flaming jaguar.
