"Vibrant?" Aslisk sounded almost appalled. She couldn't be that vibrant, could she? Her head craned and glanced at her wings: limbs that she hadn't taken the time to truly look into. Her scales were far too bright for her liking. That was irritating. It showed in a sharp flick of her tail, an irritable motion. "Redvox, huh." The nickname, the one that was shorter, it almost reminded her of something. Her mind pressed, trying to remember. It gave her a name, a name she knew was wrong. One that sparked sheer annoyance in her mind: of a pathetic scientist who thought a frog with arrows could take over the universe. Or something like that. She didn't press into it any longer; if anything, it was still laughable even if she felt as if her memories were skewed. It mattered little at the time.
There were questions being asked of her. The webbed ears raised, aiding to a thoughtful expression that spread across her face. One answer was more simple to answer. The other, though? Her reason was nonexistant. She'd have to come up with something on the fly. Something swift and believable. Her mind wracked for a brief moment. "My name is Aslisk." She answered, swiftly to cover up her inner thoughts. They didn't take kindly to visitors? Her tongue clicked against her teeth. "Why is that, if you don't mind elaborating?" Her tone was masked with curiosity, but it underlaid with the same hiss that had been present before. Irritated, angered, annoyed, possible? "If I am to be honest, I don't have any business here. Nor do I know of that.. 'territory' concept." Her jaws pressed together, forming a slight frown. How strange of a term. She blamed her memories being out of sort for making her look like a fool.
"Although, this is the first civilization of sorts I've come across. I'd hoped to be able to stay." That was a smidgen of a fib. In truth, she did not know that there had been a society here until speaking to his..strange oddity. Something was familiar though, more than the name. Her red eyes squinted, trying to place the memories. Not much could she gather from them. A friend's friend? Aslisk couldn't pin it down, and it brought an annoyance to the front of her mind. Her words conflicted with her previous statement, but the wyvern seemed to not fully grasp her error.
