idyllfields
stars did fall
idyll felt likewise toward the angelic guardian, feeling comfortable and a sense of warmth when around her. almost in a similar way that goldie's presence experienced; an air-light feeling of serenity. calmness. even in such a stressful, tough moment, dove's voice was like a wind chime in the storming thoughts in their head.
they nodded their head slowly. two years had felt like forever to them, especially without anyone around them. they were glad to see the lynx now, when they began to start dipping into that lonely feeling again. seeing how helpful she was to celeste and how kind she was to everyone around her made them feel confident in what she had to say in response.
the question they asked bad been answered with a few more, but ones that were just the slightest bit more eye opening. the coyote had taken into the fact that their father may not be who he said or was described as. especially when those details came from their mother, and a nanny being paid to care for them. it was in their naïve nature they wished only the greatest things their father was or could be. they practically ate up every bit of information their mother could provide.
a replacement healer was... a decision they had not thought of. especially with their captain being recently injured and having to take care of her, idyll made sure to think more on this later. or now? maybe it would be smart to hash out ideas at that moment.
"i don't know if he will be who i was always told. i can only hope, but i have come to accept that it may be different. but i do firmly believe a father cannot just abandon their child so frivolously. not when they've come so far to seek them out."
"as far as replacements go, i admittedly did not think anything of it. i didn't imagine goldenluxury would be harmed to such an extreme. i suppose that will really push for me to speak to her soon about this, then." they let out a deep sigh. "i appreciate you taking the time to help clear my thoughts, miss dove. you're a godsend." they smiled, their shoulders at ease and free of tension.
