The scent of death and decay had become quite familiar to Wormwood these days, not only because of the... incidents that had happened lately, but also because his own hellhound form was vaguely rotting in undeath. Not to the same extent that this newcomer was rotting on one side, but it was still enough to plug his nose and sometimes make him feel vaguely wrong somehow. Still, he wasn't used to the overwhelming scent of something rotting when he wandered around the border of Tanglewood, and immediately his heart sank, his first assumption being that there would be yet another dead body to deal with. He wished that every little thing these days didn't fill him with a sense of constant anxiety over someone being hurt or killed, but he couldn't help it. It seemed like things were attacking them from both within the clan, and also from outside and within the Pitt, and they just couldn't get a damn break. So as he moved towards the scent of decay, he prepared himself for the inevitable sadness that would grip him, along with the disgust and rage.
However, what he came upon wasn't a murder scene. At least, not in any traditional sense. Worm was startled by the appearance of the newcomer in front of him, and he found himself staring for a moment before he quickly shook his head, realizing he was being rude. After all, he didn't exactly look very pretty right now, and even if he was still in his lion form, it was rude to make Mirrorimage feel uncomfortable. Taking a deep breath, the chaser looked down at his large bone claws before barking softly, tilting his head to one side as his tail wagged slowly behind him – even if this stranger was a little odd looking, he was still someone who seemed to be looking to join, "Ah, uhm... hello? Could I know what your name and business is here... er, names and business?" He could've sworn he heard voices on his way over here, so he could only assume that both heads were sentient, but he wasn't quite sure if both of them were distinct enough to have different names. After all, this could just be one person with multiple heads, he honestly wasn't sure. He'd never encountered such a creature before, and it reminded him of the legends of Cerberus he had read on his way here.
