[glow=#000,1,400]MY MAMA SAID THAT I'M NOT LIVING RIGHT. YOU RAISED A LION, MAMA, I AIN'T LYING, MAMA — 。+゚.[/glow]
When Leroy had first arrived back with Sam and Beck, collapsing into the dirt in exhaustion and crumpling under the effort of their escape, Worm had been horrified. He had not only been worried for an exhausted Leroy, but he had been more than just worried for the extremely wounded Sam and Beck, rushing to help all of them onto his back and get them to Selby ans the others who could properly help them as soon as possible. Eventually he had ended up leaving Sam with Selby, and had then taken Beck to his house, and Leroy to a cot to lay down, before he had collapsed at his own home, worn out and drained from the pure feeling of shock and nausea that had overcome him, not to mention the fact that he had still been recovering from the wounds he had received from Jervis in the battle. Needless to say, he had been relieved that those that he cared about so much were ultimately going to be okay with time, but he still felt worried over whether or not they would listen to Selby's commands to help with their healing processes, not to mention his worry over another person that he cared about now being missing. He was worried that Red was in the same position now that Sam and Beck had been in, suffering and chained up in the Pitt, struggling for his life while they weren't able to do anything because they were still recovering from the first rescue.

Knowing full well he wouldnt be able to do anything for Red on his own, Wormwood had decided to focus his intensely anxious energies elsewhere, instead opting to go and visit Beck at his house. He knew that the other had been feeling overwhelmingly bored lately with just being forced to sit around and rest, and had made plenty of arguments about how he was a ghost, and how he was fine, even when many – including Selby – did not agree. So, Worm had decided that he would try and cheer the other up with a bit of a visit, and maybe ask him if there was anything that he needed that hadn't already been gotten for him by others. In addition to that, the lion had realized that his gift for the young ghost boy hadn't been taken inside yet, mostly because he was sure that Beck hadn't been moving around too often lately. So, as he stepped up to the entrance of the older, yet somehow younger, male's home, carefully lifting up the case of pinned up butterflies into his mouth before gently knocking one of his wings against the door to signal that he was coming inside.

Gently pushing open the door carefully with his head, Wormwood looked around the other's place curiously, since he had only actually been inside once before, and.he had been in quite the hurry. Before long he focused his attention back on Beck, and he moved over to the dead feline, stting down a bit away from him and carefully putting down the gift he had brought inside. He gave Beck a bit of a tired smile before he finally decided to speak, figuring that he should explain why he was here, [glow=black,1,400]"Hey, Beck. I came to visit you, since I've heard you're bored being stuck in here all by yourself most of the time. Plus I brought you a gift a few days ago without remembering you could bring it inside yourself, like an idiot."[/glow] He prodded at the butterflies with a paw to show them off before looking back up at Beck, looking the other male over carefully to see how he was healing up. His eyes lingered temporarily on the areas he knew had been bleeding and ravaged when he had first brought Beck back, along with hesitating over the stumps where Beck's paws usually were. Before long, however, his she's snapped back up to Beck's face, his tail flicking nervously behind him, since Beck was always sort of a wildcard to the lion.
you can be an angel of mercy, or give in to hate. you can try to fight it, just like every other careless mistake.
