[glow=#000,1,400]MY MAMA SAID THAT I'M NOT LIVING RIGHT. YOU RAISED A LION, MAMA, I AIN'T LYING, MAMA — 。+゚.[/glow]
After Poet had disappeared, with their mother's blood on his paws, Worm had been left in a state of slight shock and agony. Not only because his mother was dead – despite their unpleasant past history – but also because the only family from the pride he had left was now gone, and had left the place that Worm now considered to be his home. The lion's focus had of course at first been on his own mental state over everything that had happened, but before long his focus had turned back onto others. This was mainly as a sort of coping mechanism for the male, since focusing on others meant that he didn't have to focus on his own emotions or how events were affecting him. The mix of everything that was going on – with Sam and Beck, and Poet, and Red still not returning yet – meant that Worm absolutely needed to focus on others at the moment, or he would just end up tearing himself apart inside and blaming himself for everything that had happened. Even things that weren't even his fault, like Red not returning from the Pitt yet.

When it came to worrying about others instead of himself, his mind had immediately traveled to Moth and how she was doing. He had tried not to bug either of the two about it, or embarrass either of the younger creatures about feelings they might've been ignoring, but he had noticed full well that Moth and his brother seemed to be getting pretty close before Poet had disappeared. It was pretty clear that she had been trying to hide her feelings about the whole ordeal, or perhaps she didn't even know why she was feeling the way that she was, and Worm felt like he needed to help her out, or at least reassure her that things would one day be alright, both as a friend and as Poet's brother, who felt the need to explain what might have pushed Poet to leave. Truthfully even he couldn't entirely say why his brother had left instead of just going in front of Crow to admit what he had done was in self defense – whatever the reason could have been had been plaguing him for days now, going on a week since he had first found Poet's note – but he could at least try to pretend like he did.

Taking a deep breath to try and even himself out, Wormwood had gone over to where he knew Moth's home to be, gently nudging the door open and glancing around curiously. When he spotted Moth, he rumbled softly as he stepped carefully inside of the house, trying his best to make sure he didn't trample on anything with his large form, [glow=#165042,1,400]"Hey Moth. I came over to talk to you and hang out... I figured that I could see how you had liked my present for you, and see how you're training and stuff is going."[/glow] His own knowledge of herbs and medicine and all of that was quite limited at the moment, but he could at least appreciate very much how hard Moth seemed to be working as she was trained under Selby, and he felt an odd sort of brotherly or fatherly pride about that. He wanted her to be successful, and he wanted her to one day be a great and helpful medic to the entire group of Tanglewood.
