LOST IN WONDERLAND

Vathmos' teeth scared her and she almost fell off the log as she shied away. Then she saw the small one take a drink out of the container, and she tentatively took it from him and began drinking. The water spilled out of her mouth onto her chest at times when she couldn't swallow it fast enough. It registered that he was asking questions.

"Home," Her voice was dry despite the water she had consumed, as if she hadn't spoken in a very long time. "I don't know how long..."
