[font=trebuchet ms]Darksouls had once believed himself to be a blank slate, but now that he knew for sure he was not, he couldn't fathom what it would be like to actually be one. To not have memories, hopes, or fears... he had far too much of all three to imagine being devoid of them. He remembered his home, he cared for his siblings, and he feared ever going back- a strange combination, some might think.
The horned creature with stars in his pelt was not the strangest sight Darksouls had ever witnessed, but he halted in his tracks nonetheless, briefly entranced by the gradient in the stranger's fur. Blue and purple were calming colors to him, far removed from the heat of danger, and that combined with the waving pattern was... oddly soothing. When the newcomer finally spoke, though, Darksouls stepped out from under the foliage to reveal himself.
"You are on Typhoon territory," he answered, twitching his ears. He could hear Inkquill offer a low quack of curiosity from atop his head. Clearing his throat, he continued, "Who are you?"
