Indeed, the reptile then admitted that she had never seen a town before. Towns weren't really that common, so that wasn't surprising. "First time for everything," Straw said, turning her gaze down towards the sea. "Yeah, there's drinks. Water, tea, cocoa, everything." Maybe the reptile wouldn't know what tea or cocoa were, but she could learn about that too. Tena was good at making both of them.
The stranger was having noticeable trouble pronouncing mountain, and some of the other words, and it seemed like it was frustrating her. Straw understood that, too; some words just wouldn't roll off the tongue right no matter what you did. Thankfully no one in Elysium was the type to make fun of you if you made a pronunciation mistake.
Straw started walking towards the path down the mountain, then turned to look back at the reptile. "Follow me?" she asked. She would try to press the issue if the reptile said no, but she wasn't that good at pressing issues in general.
