She had tried for so, so long on her wandering trip to fly, but it had always evaded her. Why, she wasn't sure. It was not pleasant, constantly leaping from trees and finding herself crashing down onto the ground. It was fine when it was grass, less so when it was anything other than such.
Her tiny talons were scrabbling against the rocky ground. She heaved herself upwards, in search of the greatest perch everer in order to fling herself off and finally achieve flight. Sanzu had been climbing up for quite some time know, trying to find a suitable enough perch for her to leap off of. She dreamed of the day that her webbed wings would be able to curl the wind underneath them and she would rise high into the air like the dragons that her parents had been and told her about.
Sanzu wasn't really sure how long she'd been climbing upwards. A while, she knew that much. It made her arms and her wings feel so sore and so tired. It was such a steep climb- it honestly hadn't looked that big from where she had begun her ascent! This was utterly a show of big and massive stupid stuff that honestly she could care less about. She honestly felt her desire to fly waver under a new desire: to lay down and rest her head and sleep.
Her glowing tongue hung from her mouth as she finally did come to a rest. Her wings and entire body flopped down on the ground, loudly huffing afterwards. This was an exhausting climb. This wasn't a comfy spot. She rested a talon on top of her snout, loudly grumbling. "Thiss isss way too tall, too much climb," the young dragon complained, her ears adding on to her drooping look as they lowered. She was never going to reach the top at this rate! How annoying, how absolutely and utterly annoying. She didn't have a vocabulary extensive enough to deem it anything more than annoying. She wished she had a better term to use, but alas, she was too tired to even try to think of one that she did know.
